BAB DATALOGGER

BAB Datalogger records KNX®- telegrams . Therefore it is directly connected to KNX- bus (TP) via a screw clamp, or receives the data with the KNXnet/IP protocol via network. It acts like an KNXnet/IP-Router. Full Routing- and Tunneling- protocol is implemented. All data could be stored in the internal (8 GB) memory or also external in a MySQL- database. The exported ».knxproj- data« from ETS 4 can be imported by the BAB DataLogger. With the help of these ETS- project the datenbase is automatically structured and gives access to any group address structure and more useful information given by the ».knxproj- data« export.

BAB DataLogger can be configured in 2 ways: over the integrated web- interface or directly at the device with the help of the LCD- display and 6 push- buttons. A PC for starting up is not necessary. To avoid monitoring of not needed data , specific data volumes can be fixed, so only relevant data is recorded.

Recorded KNX®- data in BAB DataLogger can be exported to a local USB- stick as CSV or XLS data.

Period of date and individual address group range can be fixed freely . Data can be send on demand as an e-mail in a free selectable range (e. g.: daily, weekly or monthly).

Furthermore data can be transferred comfortably over LAN or WAN - and with the help of a plugin (MS-Windows) - directly translated from MySQL in MS-Excel®. Here an analysis of the data with the rich functions of Excel is possible.
